GPS LS برای خلبانانی از سطح نوایس تا حرفه ایی ساخته شده است که بدنبال پرواز با اینسترومنتی سبک و ساده هستند که امکانات بسیاری نیز در اختیار آنها قرار دهد. این دستگاه تقریبا بسیاری از امکاناتی را که اکثر اینسترومنت های گران قیمت ارائه میدهند را در خود جای داده است در حالی که قیمت آن بسیار مقرون بصرفه تر است.
